The Zimmer frames of the newly elected Nazis of the Brexit Party managed to find their way to the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Determined to be disruptive, they decided on a crass publicity stunt while ‘Ode To Joy’, the 4th movement of Ludwig van Beethoven’s 9th symphony and the European National Anthem, was performed live by a small orchestra for the legislature’s opening ceremony.
Many commentators have described their actions as childish, but as the parent of two children, I feel this is insulting to the younger generation that doesn’t want this failed project of the Tory right and Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party
People have observed the similarities between Nazi deputies who turned their backs on the speaker in the Berlin Reichstag in 1930, prompting a host of social media memes comparing the two photos of each group of Nazis with their backs turned in a democratically elected Parliament.
Copying the Nazis isn’t the best way to make a positive impression, except on other Nazis ( thanks to @Old_Ben_Kay for the pic) pic.twitter.com/A8wjESPdYM

Disrespectful to music
As a musician, I can say this is highly disrespectful to those young musicians who performed. It takes years to learn a classical instrument, it’s bloody hard work and the pay is not as high as you might think. Those kids had far more talent than the entire Brexit Party could ever dream of.
Have a bigger vision than your own petty-minded selfishness and don’t disrespect musicians performing the music of one of the greatest composers ever to walk this Earth.
Of course, the Brexit Party’s dislike of ‘Ode To Joy’ is based purely on their xenophobia and hatred of foreigners, because it was composed by a German. They wouldn’t have carried out their embarrassing publicity stunt if the European anthem happened to be from Elgar’s ‘Enigma Variations’ or Henry Purcell’s ‘The Fairy Queen’ who were both English composers. Handel’s ‘Water Music’ might have given them a dilemma as George Frideric Handel was a German-born naturalised Brit.
These loonies have not only shown how little respect they have for the future generations, British business and our international standing on the world stage, but they went one step further by showing they are uncultured ignoramuses, which of course would be in line with their core vote.

Japanese Demon or Ann Widdecombe?
Sperm whales, Beethoven and Nazis
Despite the fact the fascists all had their backs turned, I could still recognise one fat blob by its approximate size to a sperm whale, in the form of the evil sadistic Nazi bitch, Ann Widdecombe, who is one of my MEPs for the South West of England.
I suppose we should all be grateful she wasn’t facing the cameras so her ugly visage that reminds me of a Japanese demon I saw in a 14th-century art book did not grace our TV screens.
If only Ann Widdecombe was an endangered species instead of the sperm whale.
Beethoven once famously flew into a rage, tore off the front page of a score he had written for Napoleon called ‘Sinfonia intitolata Bonaparte’ (‘Symphony entitled Bonaparte’) and changed it to ‘Sinfonia Eroica’ (the ‘Heroic Symphony’), after learning Napoleon had declared himself Emperor of France.
Annoyed at the noise of the guns approaching Vienna in 1799, Beethoven apparently said, “If I were a general and knew as much as I do about war as I do music then Napoleon wouldn’t even be here.”
Lucrative salaries and expenses
If the Brexit Party doesn’t like the European Parliament they shouldn’t turn up, but then they would have to forgo their lucrative salaries, pensions and expenses.
One fuckwitted bellend Brexit MEP and relic of shit daytime TV in the 1990s, Dr David Bull, complained at the time it took him to get to Strasbourg. Didn’t he look on a map before standing for the Nazi Party? What kind of twat applies for a job in a place he finds too difficult to commute to even with generous travel and accommodation expenses provided?
They have justified their pitiful protest by saying an anthem is for a country and Europe isn’t a country.
They play the ‘Olympic Hymn’, also known informally as the ‘Olympic Anthem’, by the Greek composer Spyridon-Filiskos Samaras at the opening ceremony of the Olympics.
The Olympics isn’t a country, yet nobody turns their back when this is performed at the opening ceremonies of the Summer or Winter Olympics.
Bollocks to Brexit
Thankfully, newly elected Liberal Democrat MEPs showed the world that not every Brit is a nationalistic fascist cunt by turning up in bright yellow t-shirts proclaiming “Bollocks to Brexit”. This was jumped on by a few sanctimonious Tories who condemned their so-called crude language.
Bollocks is an Anglo Saxon word not known much outside Britain, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. It was used in the Sex Pistols’ 1977 punk rock album “Never Mind The Bollocks”.
This resulted in a prosecution for obscenity over the old English term which was successfully defended by barrister John Mortimer Q.C. who in a summary for the defence, asked:
What sort of country are we living in if a politician comes to Nottingham and speaks here to a group of people in the city centre and during his speech a heckler replies “bollocks”. Are we to expect this person to be incarcerated, or do we live in a country where we are proud of our Anglo Saxon language? Do we wish our language to be virile and strong or watered down and weak?
I’m with the Lib Dems on this. Bollocks to Brexit! That’s fairly mild compared to some of the choice words I have used to describe Brexit and the morons who support it. Thankfully, I’m not a politician nor would I ever want to seek elected office, so I can say what the fuck I like, which 100% includes “Bollocks to Brexit”.

The Brexit Party are not even a political party. They are a profit making limited company. The Brexit Party does not even have a political manifesto. They are a singular issue party which is Brexit, and Brexit is just motivated by xenophobia and a desire to destroy the British economy and decimate agricultural, manufacturing and financial services exports to the EU free trade zone, which has a yuge and bigly wall of import duties on such products which come from outside the EU. Negotiation? The EU is playing hardball; they are in the stronger position and if UK exports are more expensive due to import duties, then all the better for the EU states. If they give in to the British, this will send a message to any state which leaves the EU that they can still be part of the EU trade zone. What is happening is economic suicide.
Why on earth is the Lib Dems wearing a t shirt with expletives on any better????
If you bothered to read the article it explained why.
It would be better if everyone talked and behaved respectfully. There is too much “I am right and you are wrong” from all sides. This should not be treated as some sort of team sport. History is full of examples of the flat earth view being shown to be wrong – many people on both sides seem to take the flat earth view. Lets find a diffrent way to deal with people and things like drugs, BREXIT and politics generally. In one way or another we get the politicians we vote for. Lets do something about this in a respectful way that helps change opinions and not in a way that causes conflict.
Letting the Leave campaign get away with lying to gullible morons hasn’t done this country very well. I say enough is enough and no we don’t get the politicians we vote for as the unfair First Past The Post electoral system does not give us the politicians we vote for.
Perhaps if we had Proportional Representation we wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place. If you want to read a nicey nice critique of the Brexit Party goons, go to the fucking Guardian’s website, if you can get through the mass of adverts.
